Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and user guide. This policy explains how data is handled when you browse this site. It does not replace the privacy information in the Shadowrocket app or Apple’s terms. This site provides purchase verification and usage instructions; it does not provide proxy services.

1. Scope and information you submit

This is a static content site with no user registration, sign-in, email subscription, or online payment forms. You can read the guide without submitting your name, email address, or payment details. This site does not receive subscription links, server passwords, configuration files, or connection logs, and it does not perform in-app settings on your behalf through the website.

When following examples, use your own device. Do not include credentials in URL parameters on this site. The client is a one-time purchase, not a service plan; the usage instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details.

2. Visit logs and analytics

When your browser requests pages, fonts, and images, the hosting service may log the request time, page path, response status, IP address, and device information provided by your browser. These logs help deliver web pages, detect unusual traffic, troubleshoot loading issues, and keep the site running.

This site uses analytics to understand page visits, referral categories, and how visitors use content entry points. When you click an App Store button on the purchase verification page, the site records a store-link click to assess whether the purchase information is clear. This event does not indicate that a purchase was completed or reveal the app’s connection status.

Analytics are used only to maintain the site and improve its content. App Store click events do not give this site access to your Apple Account, order details, or content accessed within the app. The retention and deletion of visit logs depend on the actual deployment configuration; this policy does not promise an unverified, fixed retention period.

3. Cookies and local storage

This site has no sign-in sessions or shopping cart. Depending on its configuration, the analytics component may use cookies or browser storage to distinguish visits and reduce duplicate counts. You can check what is stored in your browser’s site data settings.

Page tabs may also use URL fragments to restore your reading position; fragments are not cookies. Browser caching of static assets is part of how pages load and is different from submitting personal information.

You can restrict cookies, clear this site’s data, or use private browsing in your browser. Clearing browser data does not remove App Store purchase records, but local preferences or analytics sessions may be recreated. Clearing browser data alone does not delete visit logs already recorded on the server.

4. External App Store links

The only way to get Shadowrocket is through the App Store product page, which is operated by Apple. Clicking the link takes you away from this site. Your browser may pass referral information according to its referrer policy; Apple’s policies and your device settings govern any subsequent data handling.

Purchases, payments, redownloads, and related account actions are handled in Apple’s environment and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms. This site does not process payment credentials or access orders on your behalf. Refer to the App Store page for system requirements, compatibility, and purchase availability.

5. Privacy settings and help

Do not include personal credentials in page links, screenshots, or text shared publicly. For guidance on VPN configuration permissions, importing an existing subscription, and checking a connection, see the Getting Started guide. For purchase and redownload help, see Restore Purchases.

This site has no account for managing personal details and no online privacy request form. You can manage browser data on your device. Handle information related to your Apple Account and orders in the account environment provided by Apple. Tutorial links are for reading instructions, not submitting sensitive information.

6. Policy updates

If site features, analytics purposes, or browser storage practices change, this page will be revised and the last-updated month at the top will be changed. The current public text on this page is the authoritative version. Because this site does not collect email addresses, policy updates are not sent by email. When you return, check the updated month and the relevant sections.
